Green tea is good for your memory

EGCG, in short, is a substance found in green tea which has long been known for its antioxidant values and its role in neurogenesis (generation of neurons). A team of Chinese scientists could recently show that, thanks to EGCG, green tea could have a positive impact on the memory function as well as on spatial awareness and thus also on neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease.
